On Sunday 21st June our Concept Hygiene ladies took part in the Race for Life to support Cancer Research UK.
Although the wind was a little chilly, the weather was still on our side with bright spells of sunshine making it a pleasant day for all. Sue Brooks and Kerrieann Foran ran in less than 30 minutes whilst the rest of the group jogged and walked. All ladies had finished by 1hr 3 mins – well done!
Andy our Managing Director says “I am really proud of the Concept Hygiene Race For Life team and what they have achieved to raise money for Cancer Research UK. So far we have raised £445.00 and are still collecting so we are not at our final total just yet.”
Jennifer Ward, the event manager for Liverpool, said: “By taking part in Race for Life, or sponsoring someone who is participating, you can help Cancer Research UK’s doctors, nurses and scientists make advances in research which will help more men, women and children in the North West survive.”
On behalf of all of us here at Concept Hygiene we would like to say a special “thank you” to anyone who sponsored us. There is still time to sponsor us if you wish by following the link below where you can make a donation through our JustGiving page.
